Applications are due April 1 for the first round of five $10,000 postgraduate fellowships from University of California Berkeley’s Graduate School of Journalism.

The UC Berkeley – 11th Hour Food and Farming Journalism Fellowship is part of a new program established by Michael Pollan, a John S. and James L. Knight chair in journalism at UC Berkeley. It is a project of the Knight Center in Science and Environmental Journalism and are supported by the 11th Hour Project. 

The fellowships offer new and mid-career journalists a chance to report longform stories on food systems.
