IowaWatch Executive Director-Editor Lyle Muller will be a guest questioner in a legislative forum at 2 p.m. Monday, June 10, at the Coralville Public Library.

Legislative Forum

The forum, organized by the Johnson County Task Force on Aging, is to address what was or what was not accomplished in 2013 and what might happen in 2014.

Four legislators will be present to answer questions, organizers said. They are Sens. Robert Dvorsky and Joe Bolkcom and Reps. Bobby Kaufman and Mary Mascher. Dvorsky, Bolkcom and Mascher are Democrats. Kaufman is a Republican.

The other questioner in the forum will be Adam Sullivan, who covers politics for the Iowa City Press-Citizen.

The public is invited to come and share with legislators their concerns and hopes for 2014. Those attending the forum will be invited to submit questions and comments, organizers said.

Persons are encouraged to park in the event parking spaces on the lower level of the Coralville Library parking ramp.
