The Iowa Center for Public Affairs Journalism-IowaWatch.org released on Oct. 8, 2015, an annual report that shows advancements the nonprofit, nonpartisan news organization made in the past year to:
- Increase the number of media partners publishing or airing on radio and television its stories. Our stories were published or aired in 81 media outlets 1,033 times from January through September 2015. This effort includes our IowaWatch Connection radio program.
- Expand opportunities for students at Iowa universities and colleges to have their investigative journalism published. We are working with students on multiple college campuses to cover the 2016 Iowa presidential precinct caucuses.
- Engage audiences in conversation about important issues and expand our reach.
- Spend wisely money from foundations, service recipients and donors.
