We’ve covered many stories in the old year 2015, and we’ll discuss some of them along with a view toward the new year 2016…a look back, a look ahead. We’ll also look at the ways journalism has changed over the past few years — with consumers increasingly using mobile devices and social media to access information — and how IowaWatch fits into the evolving model of journalism.
“My hope is that it (journalism) hasn’t changed much. The tenets of journalism are to seek the truth, vet information, learn what actually is. We don’t care so much what people say, we care what is. And that is journalism as basic as it should have been and has been through time,” said Lyle Muller, executive director-editor of IowaWatch.
Among the stories we discuss are some of the top read stories of 2015, which you can find here.
