With the passage of the $1 trillion federal infrastructure bill, more farming communities could have first-time access to internet services.

The bill includes $65 billion for broadband internet, mainly through state grants, according to the Associated Press.

Based on a U.S. Department of Agriculture annual survey collected in June, most farms throughout selected Midwest states use their phones to access the internet.
